THE inn

The Glens Falls Inn is located in the southern Adirondacks. It is within walking distance to downtown Glens Falls where you will find a variety of restaurants, brew pubs, theaters, specialty shops, museums, sporting events, shows, concerts and more. Only 15-20 minute drive to Saratoga Springs or Lake George. A turn of the century spectacular home. The interior is exquisite with all its original wood work, high ceilings and pocket doors. Rooms are very inviting, well appointed and comfortable.

THE SPACE

This wonderful home carries a great 'welcome home' feel to it. Large spacious rooms for gathering. Gather in the living room, large dining room or kitchen. There are a total of 6 guest rooms each with its own private bathroom. The first floor bedroom is handicap accessible. The inn is a truly remarkable structure with high ceilings, notable details of original moldings, hardwood floors, pocket doors and various other nuances of its time. Entire home updated with all the amenities of today’s modern world but carries an incredible timeless old world charm of historical appeal.

The Top of the Inn is a third floor, private, one bedroom apartment with kitchen, full bath, laundry and gas fireplace. This is a separate unit that is sometimes available for reservations. Feel free to inquire.

GUEST ACCESS

When booking the entire home with 6 guest rooms you will have full private use of the kitchen, living room, and dining room. If you are booking one of the guest rooms only.... all guests will share access and have full welcome use of the sitting parlor, living room, dining room and wrap around front porch. Cooking and laundry not available for use.

Laundry room available for guests who is booked for 7 days or more. Please request prior to booking. I will prepare the facility for your use at an additional cost.

Interaction with guests

I will make it a point to meet you to help you feel at home at the Inn, give some direction on your stay and to where to find things that you may need. Also, I’ll fill you in on some activities, restaurants and shows in the area. However, if for one reason or another I am not there when you arrive, please text or call me on my cell phone which will be posted inside the vestibule. My intention is to give you your own space and be available only as you choose. If you are booking the entire house with all rooms I leave you to your privacy but always available by phone. I am usually only 20-30 minutes away.

There is a 3rd floor apartment that will be made available in the near future for reservations. It is currently vacant and getting a make-over. No access unless prior arrangement are made. It does have a kitchen, full bath, laundry and 1 bedroom. It is known as the 'Top of the Inn" or Innkeepers Quarters. Very nice space! Stay tuned.
